About NCVA
Founded in 1986, the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community advocacy organization working to advance the cause of Vietnamese Americans in a plural but united America – e pluribus unum – by participating actively and fully as civic minded citizens engaged in the areas of education, culture and civil liberties.

Smith's Trafficking Victims Protection Act to Become Law
In a bipartisan vote, the Senate overwhelmingly passed Rep. Chris Smith's (R-NJ) Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) of 2005 (HR 972), legislation that strengthens the nation's current trafficking law and authorizes new funds for investigation and prosecution of domestic trafficking within the United States.

Vietnamese, Veteran Groups Hold Forum on Ending Communism in SE Asia
Many Asian leaders, known locally and nationally in their communities, spoke at the Vietnamese Nine Commentary Forum at George Mason University on Saturday, Dec 17th. There have been ten "Nine Commentaries" forums in the Washington DC metropolitan area alone, and this eleventh one was the first of its kind in the Vietnamese language, with Southeast Asian and American veteran communities invited as special guests.
