About NCVA
Founded in 1986, the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community advocacy organization working to advance the cause of Vietnamese Americans in a plural but united America – e pluribus unum – by participating actively and fully as civic minded citizens engaged in the areas of education, culture and civil liberties.

Other Ways to Support Our Nonprofit Mission

For more information on any of the following giving opportunities, please contact your tax advisor or contact NCVA at (703) 971-9178or email info(at)ncvaonline(dot)org. 100% of the proceeds from these activities and events will benefit the Programs at the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans. All contributions are tax deductible.

In-Kind Gifts - Donated services from lawyers, consultants, grant writers and Internet service providers. Goods needed include a van for transporting community members to events, office supplies, computer, laptop and projector. All in-kind gifts are tax deductible.

Gift of Life Insurance - To make a gift of life insurance, you may name the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans as the owner and/or beneficiary of the policy or as the successor in the case of death of the prior beneficiary. If ownership of the policy is donated to the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans, you will receive a charitable income tax deduction for the present value or future premium payments on the policy. If you wish to retain ownership of the policy and name the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans as the beneficiary, any monetary donation received will be deductible by the insured estate as a charitable contribution, thus reducing your estate tax.

Memorial Gifts & Living Tributes - Living tributes or memorial gifts which honor a family or individual may be made to the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans with no minimum dollar amount. When you make a memorial donation or a living gift tribute, we send appreciation cards to both the family and contributor and make an acknowledgement in our publications. Gifts made to the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans in memory or in tribute of someone special help sustain a living legacy to be enjoyed by supporters every year.

Stocks - In addition to making a cash donation to the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans, you can donate stock. There are many advantages to donating stock, such as avoiding paying capital gains taxes when you donate appreciated securities and receiving a charitable income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the securities if it has been held longer than one year.
